Paper for garment and textile units
A garment unit uses paper between garments, around them and in the cartons and bags they ship in. Each job points to a different grade.

01 / The jobs
Where paper works in a garment unit
Interleaving folded garments, so each layer stays clean and separate. Wrapping finished pieces for dispatch. Filling the space in cartons. Making printed carry bags for retail.
02 / Constraints
The limits a garment unit works under
Clean contact on both faces
Paper between garments touches fabric on both sides, so an even sheet matters.
Cartons travel far
Export and domestic cartons take rough handling, so the outer packing needs strength.
Presentation at retail
Bags and wraps carry the brand, so the printing face matters.

For packs your customer opens, bleached kraft gives a clean white outer with kraft strength. For cartons out of sight, plain kraft is the more economical choice.
Questions
Before you specify
Which paper goes between folded garments?
An even white sheet such as our white MF, the same on both faces.
Which paper fills export cartons?
Kraft. The long-fibre, unbleached grade takes rough handling.
Which paper suits printed retail bags?
White MG, with a bright glazed face for accurate colour. Brown MG gives the same construction with a natural look.
