Bleached Kraft
Clean white strength

Kraft strength, taken to white. Bleached kraft keeps the long-fibre base of the kraft grade and adds a clean surface. The refined end of the range, for packing your customer sees.
Bleaching is a finishing choice on top of a strength choice. The long-fibre kraft base does the structural work. Brightening the base changes what the pack communicates, with no change of paper.
This is the reason the grade exists. Packaging has to survive a supply chain and still look deliberate on arrival. Without bleached kraft, you choose between the two, or pay for a laminate.

Questions
How is bleached kraft different from plain kraft?
Same long-fibre base, bleached to a clean white surface. The bleaching stage costs back some strength, so plain kraft is the tougher grade. Choose bleached kraft when the pack is seen as well as shipped.
Is bleached kraft stronger than butter paper?
Yes. Butter paper is a light food-contact sheet. Bleached kraft is a packing grade built around strength.
Does bleaching weaken kraft?
Yes, a little. The bleaching stage costs back some of the strength. Bleached kraft remains a kraft-base packing grade, chosen for strength. Where a job is purely structural and unseen, plain kraft is stronger and costs less.
