Picking a weight for food wrapping

Lighter GSM suits wrapping and high volume. Heavier GSM suits handling and heavier product.

Buyers of OGR usually run high volume, where every gram costs money. The grease barrier does the work extra weight would otherwise do, so the lighter weights are the point, not a compromise.

Grease resistance and weight

Grease resistance comes from the OGR grade. Both shades share the same oil and grease resistant grade.

We do not publish KIT values for our OGR yet. Until we do, order samples and test them with your own food.

Which OGR weight do most food wraps use?

Food wraps sit at the light end of the range. Tell us the food and the wrap size and we will suggest a weight from our five.

Do white and brown OGR come in the same weights?

Yes. Both come in 35, 45, 55, 65 and 70 GSM, with the same widths, lengths, sheet sizes and MOQ.
