Which weight for which job

Across our ranges, lighter GSM suits wrapping and high volume. Heavier GSM suits handling and heavier product.

For butter paper, this puts 35 GSM towards wrapping and interleaving, and 50 GSM towards tray lining, where the sheet takes more handling.

Tell us the job and your tray or wrap size. We will suggest a weight and a format.

Before you order

For oven work, order the silicone-coated type. We make no oven claim for vegetable parchment or greaseproof uncoated.

Ask for samples in the weights you are considering. Compare them on your own trays before you commit to a bulk run.
