Brown MG

Wins: A natural look, with kraft behaviour behind the glazed face.

Loses: Colour shifts towards the base shade, so brand colours drift.

White MG

Wins: The better of our two MG grades for colour fidelity.

Loses: No natural kraft look, for brands built on brown.

02 / Decide

How to decide

Decide on print first. If your artwork carries brand colours, choose white MG. On brown, ink shifts towards the base shade.

For one-colour print, such as a dark logo on a natural bag, brown MG carries the print on the glazed face and keeps the kraft look.

Construction matches. Both are glazed on one side against the cylinder and matte on the reverse. Weights, widths, roll lengths, sheet sizes, MOQ and lead time match too.

03 / Uses

Where each shade fits

Brown MG suits printed wrap with a clean glazed face, packing with kraft behaviour and a presentable outer side, and bags and liners where one finished face is enough.

White MG suits branded wrap with accurate colour, presentation-led retail packing, and commercial print runs needing a glazed white face.

Both come in reels from 500 to 1,500 mm wide and 1,500 to 4,000 m long, and in 500×700 and 700×1,000 mm sheets.

04 / Test

Proof on both

Print a proof of your artwork on samples of both shades. Compare them under the light your customer sees them in, on the counter or at the door.

Once you agree a shade, repeats ship against the same spec.
