Interleaving
Interleaving is placing thin sheets of paper between stacked layers of product, so the layers stay separate and clean.
01 / Where
Where interleaving happens
Printers interleave freshly printed sheets, so wet ink does not transfer from one sheet to the next. Archives interleave prints and documents to cut abrasion between surfaces.
Food producers interleave slices and layers, so portions come apart. Garment units interleave folded garments, so each layer stays clean.

02 / Choosing
Picking an interleaving paper
Three of our grades list interleaving as a main use: butter paper rolls, butter paper sheets and white MF.
Against food, use butter paper. Rolls suit continuous lines. Pre-cut sheets suit one repeated size.
Away from food, use white MF. The sheet is even on both faces, so either side goes against the product. White MF is not for direct food contact.
03 / Our formats
