What a sandwich wrap has to do

A sandwich wrap keeps the sandwich together and clean from counter to customer. The filling decides how much the paper has to resist.

Dry fillings need a neat, food-safe wrap. Oily, buttery or saucy fillings need a grease barrier, or the oil shows through the paper.

03 / Format

Sheets for the counter

Pre-cut sheets suit a counter repeating one wrap size all day. Butter paper sheets come in 300×400, 380×500, 450×600 and 500×700 mm, from 10,000 sheets per size and GSM.

OGR sheets come in 300×400, 400×600 and 500×700 mm, from 500 kg per GSM and size.

04 / Oven

Toasted and grilled sandwiches

For a sandwich going into an oven wrapped, use silicone-coated butter paper, rated to 230 °C. We make no oven claim for OGR or the other two butter paper types.

05 / Wrapping

Wrapping for the counter

Cut the sheet so the paper covers the sandwich with room to fold the ends under. A pre-cut sheet sized to your bread gives the same neat wrap every time across a service.

06 / Ordering

Order sizes

Butter paper rolls start at 1 retail roll, or 250 kg per width and GSM in bulk, for kitchens cutting to length. Sheets start at 10,000 per size and GSM. OGR starts at 500 kg per GSM and size.

Do you supply sandwich paper in rolls?

Yes. Butter paper rolls come in six widths from 300 to 1,200 mm, and OGR reels from 300 to 1,200 mm wide, slit to order.
